The idea of creation of “Red Bull” energy drink which is already known by everyone and the favourite drink of most people appeared in 1984 and three years intensive work was spent for its creation.

Energy drink entered the market to “vitalize body and mind” under the name of “Red Bull” in 1987 and successfully started to conquer the whole world. So “Red Bull” is the functional drink prepared specially to use in the times when mental and physical tension is increased. The existing form of this product was created in Austria and appeared outside the “motherland” – in Germany for the first time in 1994. The product entered all the European markets and conquered North and South America and Australia by crossing the oceans in 1997. “Red Bull” appeared in Azerbaijan in 2004. After conducting the test sales distributorship contract was signed between “Red Bull GmbH” and “Cahan Red-2” company, which is the official representative of the product for four years in Azerbaijan.

The company immediately after signing the contract organized the retail sales system and successfully realized the development principles. The marketing department was founded in the company to realize the advertising projects in 2005 and the main objective of the department is to introduce “Red Bull” brand to the consumers by organizing events intended for the interests of auditoriums of different purposes. The company has branches in some cities of Azerbaijan as well as in Nakhchivan, Ganja, Lankaran, Shaki and Guba. Thanks to this network, the sale of the product is organized in the nearby regions. By means of all these, “Cahan Red-2” company achieves annual 100% increase in the sale temps of “Red Bull” energy drink in the local market. But the scope of activity of “Cahan Red-2” company is not limited only by delivery of the products to the consumers. “Red Bull GmbH” is the regular organizer or official sponsor of the events supporting the development of extreme sports and it supports 500 extreme sportsmen around the world.
