On August 22, the 4th Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan Interregional Forum was held in Tashkent with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, and jointly organized by the Agency for Attracting Foreign Investment of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, opportunities to expand cooperation in industry, investment, trade, energy, transport and transit, digitalization, and agriculture were discussed. Speaking at the forum, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, stated that the dynamic development of Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan relations, driven by the political will of the heads of state of both countries, provides significant impetus for the further diversification of economic ties and the strengthening of business partnerships.

It should be noted that Vugar Abbasov, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, Chairman of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and Founder of Cahan Group of Companies, also participated in the event.
