The 30th Anniversary of “Cahan Group of Companies” LLC Celebrated in Nakhchivan.

The 30th anniversary of “Cahan Group of Companies” LLC was celebrated in Nakhchivan.
On this occasion, the company’s founder, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, and Chairman of the Board of the Nakhchivan Entrepreneurs Confederation, Vugar Abbasov, together with company executives and foreign guests, first laid flowers at the bust of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and paid tribute to his memory. Afterwards, they visited the Victory Monument and laid flowers in front of it.

The jubilee event was attended by Fuad Najafli, the Authorized Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as state and government officials, heads of several domestic and foreign companies, entrepreneurs, and public figures. In the afternoon, the event continued at the Nakhchivan Palace Hotel, hosted by well-known TV presenter Nargiz Jalilova, who welcomed the guests and spoke about the development path of “Cahan Group of Companies”.

The founder of “Cahan Group of Companies” LLC, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, and Chairman of the Board of the Nakhchivan Entrepreneurs Confederation, Vugar Abbasov, expressed his gratitude to all participants and noted that under his leadership, the company had grown and developed over the past 30 years, becoming an integral part of Nakhchivan’s economy. Among the company’s numerous partners are both local and internationally recognized firms. He emphasized that “Cahan Group of Companies” continues its operations in accordance with the “State Program on the Socio-Economic Development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2023–2027.” The goal is to attract more investment into the national economy through joint projects with numerous foreign partners.

Fuad Najafli, the Authorized Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, assessed the 30-year journey of the company as remarkably successful and honorable for an enterprise operating in various sectors of the economy. He stated that in recent years, Nakhchivan’s economic and entrepreneurial environment has been built upon new requirements and full transparency. Optimization, export orientation, and competitiveness are among the key priorities. It is gratifying that both the management and all employees of “Cahan Group of Companies” have successfully met these challenges, actively contributing to the improvement of Nakhchivan’s economic indicators. Mr. Najafli wished the company’s large collective continued success and conveyed his congratulations on the anniversary.

The President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, Mammad Musayev, noted that the share of the private sector in Azerbaijan’s economy now exceeds 80 percent, which demonstrates the country’s favorable and transparent business environment. He emphasized that Azerbaijan’s rapid development owes much to entrepreneurs, and that “Cahan Group of Companies” plays a significant role in this achievement, being one of the leading holdings bringing Nakhchivan-made products to global markets — a source of national pride and success.
Mr. Musayev presented a congratulatory letter from the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation to the company’s founder, Vugar Abbasov.

Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), Orkhan Mammadov, congratulated “Cahan Group of Companies,” highlighting its important role not only in Nakhchivan but also in Azerbaijan’s entire entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as its active participation in numerous social projects. He stated that KOBIA will continue to support the company’s activities in the future.

A short film dedicated to the 30th anniversary of “Cahan Group of Companies” was then presented.
Chairman of the “Nakhchivan Families of Martyrs” Public Union, Mayis Gulmammadov, Secretary General of the Union of Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, Adem Kula, Sales Manager of Italy’s “IMA” company, Matteo Bianchini, and Business Development Manager of China’s “Lifan Auto,” Chan Kai, conveyed their congratulations and presented gifts to the company’s founder, Vugar Abbasov.
In addition, President of “Caspian Energy Club” Telman Aliyev presented an honorary award to Mr. Abbasov.

Employees who distinguished themselves in the company’s activities and development were awarded in various categories.
The event continued with a concert program featuring performances by the Nakhchivan State Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, People’s Artists Nezaket Teymurova and Zulfiya Khanbabayeva, and popular pop singer Zamiq Huseynov, which added a special atmosphere to the celebration.
The evening concluded with the screening of a video clip dedicated to “Cahan Group of Companies.”
