AIIF 2025 – The 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum Kicks Off in Baku

The 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025) is being held in Baku on September 22–23. Organized by AZPROMO with the strategic partnership of The European House – Ambrosetti (TEHA), and supported by “Euronews” and “Sea Breeze” as media and organizational partners, the forum aims to bring together government officials, business leaders, and international investors.

 

The event provides a unique platform to explore the investment opportunities of countries located at the strategic crossroads of East and West, as well as to shape the future of global trade and sustainable supply chains. On the first day of the forum, a plenary session and four panel discussions were held on topics such as regional strategic integration, transit opportunities, energy and infrastructure projects, innovations, green energy, real estate, urban development, and sustainable growth.

 

It should be noted that Vice President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (ASK), Chairman of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Entrepreneurs Confederation, and Founder of “Cahan Holding” Vugar Abbasov also took part in the forum.

The 11th Meeting of the Azerbaijan–Hungary Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation Held in Budapest

On September 5, the 11th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Hungary was held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.


Prior to the meeting, the Azerbaijani delegation visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Hungary and laid flowers at the bust of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.During the meeting, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev and Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation, opportunities for its expansion, as well as the agenda of the next session of the Joint Commission. It should be noted that the leadership of “Cahan Holding” also participated in the meeting.
