On April 11, the 6th meeting of the Azerbaijan–Moldova Intergovernmental Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Baku.
The meeting focused on the development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of energy, transport, agriculture, technology transfer, and the expansion of trade turnover.
The event featured speeches by the Azerbaijani Co-Chair of the Commission, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov, and the Moldovan Co-Chair, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Vladimir Bolea.
At the end of the meeting, a Protocol outlining the outcomes of the 6th session was signed. The document envisions the further expansion of bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, agriculture, food safety, energy, transport, science and technology, humanitarian issues, healthcare, culture, intellectual property, environment, sports, and tourism. It is worth noting that the leadership of “Cahan Holding” also participated in the event.
