In 2019, the foundation of the new “Ümid-74” Housing Cooperative residential complex was laid in Nakhchivan city and subsequently commissioned. The total construction area is 22,325 m². The complex consists of eight 9-storey blocks with a total of 378 apartments. The buildings have an overall height of 33.5 meters.
The construction works for the entire complex have been fully completed. In the initial stage, the construction of Blocks A, B, G, and F, comprising 216 apartments, was successfully carried out.
In each constructed building, fire hose cabinets and a damper ventilation system have been installed to ensure internal safety. Each building is equipped with German-made “Schindler” elevators and “Wilo” water pumps.
Around the buildings, 26 commercial facilities, a parking area, and recreational parks for both children and adults have been established. The apartments were made available to the public through both mortgage financing and direct sales.
The “Umid-74” Residential Complex plays an important role in improving housing and living conditions as part of the construction and development works carried out in Nakhchivan. Each year, new residential buildings are constructed, and existing ones are renovated and put into use. These initiatives further enhance the communal and household conditions of families and are met with satisfaction by the residents. Benefiting from the favorable conditions, “Cahan Holding” Commercial Companies Union also actively contributes to the socio-economic development of the autonomous republic through its projects.
One such project is the “Umid-74” Residential Complex, which was inaugurated today in the 49th district of Nakhchivan city. The foundation of the complex was laid in June 2020, and its total area is 22,325 square meters. Within the complex, construction works were carried out over 20,300 square meters, and four 9-storey residential buildings were built.
Each of the nine-storey residential buildings contains 54 apartments. On every floor, there are 6 apartments: four 3-room apartments with an area of 96.1–95.2 square meters, and two 2-room apartments with an area of 81.80 square meters. In total, 192 apartments have been commissioned across the 4 residential buildings. One of the apartments has been allocated to the family of a martyr, and 72 have been sold through mortgage loans.
