The 113th session of the International Labour Conference of the International Labour Organization (ILO) is ongoing in Geneva.
Speaking at the session, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev stated that in recent years, five major social reform packages covering 4 million citizens have been implemented in our country. The minimum wage has increased by 3.1 times, and the minimum pension by 2.9 times. Significant increases have occurred in average monthly pensions and wages, and the funds allocated for benefits and pensions have increased fivefold.
The conference is also attended by Vugar Abbasov, Chairman of the Nakhchivan Entrepreneurs Confederation and founder of “Cahan Holding.”
