Shahin Huseynov – “Frozen Desire” Photography Exhibition
Cahan Holding places great importance on organizing cultural events as part of its operations.
On May 26, 2015, a solo photography exhibition titled “Frozen Desire” by Shahin Huseynov was held at the Museum Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, organized by Cahan Holding Commercial Companies Union.
The exhibition featured 50 photographs by the artist. The works mainly focused on themes such as natural landscapes, friendship, environmental issues, foreign lifestyles, architectural fragments, portraits, and other subjects. The photos covered the period from 2000 to 2015 and were taken in various countries, including Azerbaijan, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Iran, Russia, and Georgia.

The 2015 European Games
The inaugural European Games held in 2015 remain a landmark event in the history of Azerbaijan. One of the key local industrial enterprises supporting this prestigious sporting event was the Nakhchivan Automobile Plant, operating under the umbrella of Cahan Holding.
As an official supporter of the Baku 2015 European Games, the plant took an important step in contributing to the promotion of our country on an international scale and supporting the development of sports. Chess World Cup
The year 2015 was marked by many significant events for Azerbaijan. One of these important milestones was Azerbaijan hosting the Chess World Cup.
On September 10, Baku hosted the start of one of the most prestigious tournaments organized by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) — the Chess World Cup, which continued until October 5.
Alongside many organizations, Cahan Holding Commercial Companies Union closely collaborated in this event. Cahan Holding provided active and professional support to ensure the successful and high-level organization of the Chess World Cup. In recognition of this, the Baku Chess Olympiad Organizing Committee sent a letter of appreciation to Cahan Holding.

"Maşın" şou - 2019
Cahan Holding sponsored the 18th episode of the television program “Maşın Şou” aired on the ATV channel, presenting an OPEL INSIGNIA car — officially distributed by CAHAN MOTORS — as the grand prize.
Representatives of Cahan Holding were also invited to the filming, where they gave speeches about the company’s activities and presented participants with various gifts from the Opel brand. At the end of the show, the keys to the OPEL INSIGNIA car, provided by our company as the main prize, were awarded to the winner.
Additionally, participants were invited as guests to Cahan Holding , creating an opportunity to learn more about the company’s operations firsthand.

Nakhchivan Marathon Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Heydar Aliyev
In 2023, a large-scale running marathon was organized in the city of Nakhchivan to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. The marathon was held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and other state institutions.
Hundreds of local and international participants, athletes, and running enthusiasts took part in the event, which highlighted values such as physical health, unity, and patriotism. The main goal of the marathon was to once again emphasize Heydar Aliyev’s importance to youth and sports and to honor his legacy.

In 2023, a series of significant events were held in Azerbaijan to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. Among these events, the “Dear Shusha” International Cycling Tour held a special place in the country’s sporting life. The successful organization of the race was greatly supported by the private sector, particularly local brands.

Minifootball World Cup
The 2025 World Minifootball Federation (WMF) World Cup was the fifth edition of the international tournament for men’s national minifootball teams. This prestigious sporting event took place in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, from May 21 to June 1, 2025.
The competition, which featured the strongest national minifootball teams from around the world, was organized at a high level and attracted significant attention from the international community.
In the final match, the Azerbaijan national team faced Hungary in front of their home fans and secured the championship title by defeating their opponent with a score of 4-2.
