Meeting Held Between the State Customs Committee and Members of the Caspian Energy Club
On May 7, a meeting was held between the leadership of the State Customs Committee and members of the Caspian Energy Club. The event focused on strengthening cooperation between customs authorities and the business community, as well as facilitating faster and easier foreign trade operations.
Chairman of the Caspian Energy Club, Telman Aliyev, expressed his satisfaction with the existing collaboration and emphasized that strengthening the customs-business dialogue plays an important role in creating a favorable business environment and streamlining foreign trade procedures.
Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Lieutenant General of the Customs Service Shahin Baghirov, spoke about the importance of using all available opportunities to enhance cooperation with foreign trade participants. He noted that the tools currently developed within the customs service allow for the methodological determination of customs value and ensure efficient customs control over goods and vehicles through modern customs administration methods.
During the meeting, new members of the Caspian Energy Club were awarded certificates. It’s worth mentioning that the management team of Cahan Holding also participated in the event and was presented with a certificate.
