On December 26, the General Assembly of the Union of Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges was held in Baku.
The meeting featured speeches by Elnur Aliyev, First Deputy Minister of Economy; Məmməd Musayev, President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs (Employers) Confederation (ASK); Kubanichbek Omuraliev, Secretary-General of the Turkic Council (TDT); and Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Chairman of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The assembly discussed the existence of the Turkic Investment Fund, ways to increase mutual investments, and expanding opportunities for participation in projects. By a vote of the assembly members, the leadership of the Union of Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges was transferred to Azerbaijan.
It is worth noting that the meeting was also attended by Vuqar Abbasov, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, Chairman of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Entrepreneurs Confederation, founder of “Cahan Group of Companies,” along with the company’s executive team.
