On February 4, the Authorized Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Jeyhun Jalilov, visited “Cahan Industrial Complex” Limited Liability Company and familiarized himself with the activities of the enterprises and their prospective development plans.
Vugar Abbasov, founder of “Cahan Holding” and Chairman of the Nakhchivan Confederation of Entrepreneurs, provided detailed information on the existing production capacity of the enterprises, the modern technological equipment applied, the products manufactured, the marketing initiatives implemented, and the opportunities for export to foreign markets.
Authorized Representative Jeyhun Jalilov stated that, as a result of the purposeful economic policy implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, a new stage in the development of entrepreneurship has commenced in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. He emphasized that strengthening public–private partnership, improving the business and investment climate, providing concessional loans to entrepreneurs, and extending state support to export-oriented projects serve to effectively realize the region’s economic potential.
The Minister of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Kazim Huseynaliyev, noted that “Cahan Industrial Complex” LLC, which attaches special importance to the application of innovative technologies, contributes to the development of the autonomous republic’s economy through its successful operations. It was reported that during the previous period, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic allocated a total of 16.5 million manats in concessional loans to finance projects of enterprises included in the “Cahan Holding” Commercial Companies Union.
Vugar Abbasov stated that the allocated loan funds were directed toward the implementation of projects covering industry, construction, and manufacturing sectors. As a result of these investments, 310 jobs were created.
Due to the attention and support provided by the Head of State to entrepreneurship, the enactment of tax, customs, and social insurance incentives, as well as the continued state support measures, it is planned to create approximately 340 additional jobs during 2026.
At the conclusion of the visit, Jeyhun Jalilov emphasized that state support for entrepreneurs in the autonomous republic will continue and wished “Cahan Companies Group” LLC success in its future activities.
