Cahan Group of Companies held a special social event dedicated to the children of martyrs on the occasion of its 30th anniversary and June 1st – International Children’s Day.

This initiative served as a heartfelt tribute to both the children who represent our future and the beloved legacies of our heroes who gave their lives for the homeland.

As part of the event, numerous gifts and age-appropriate books were presented to the children to enrich their personal libraries. This act was not only a loving gesture but also a message of hope aimed at their future.

The project was carried out with the sponsorship of Cahan Group of Companies, and in partnership with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan State University, and SEVINC Public Union.

This initiative once again demonstrated that when the state, society, and business come together, every step taken for children becomes a beacon of hope for tomorrow.

The 113th session of the International Labour Conference of the International Labour Organization (ILO) is ongoing in Geneva.

Speaking at the session, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev stated that in recent years, five major social reform packages covering 4 million citizens have been implemented in our country. The minimum wage has increased by 3.1 times, and the minimum pension by 2.9 times. Significant increases have occurred in average monthly pensions and wages, and the funds allocated for benefits and pensions have increased fivefold.

The conference is also attended by Vugar Abbasov, Chairman of the Nakhchivan Entrepreneurs Confederation and founder of “Cahan Holding.”
