“Cahan-İnşaat” Limited Liability Company was established in 2007 in Nakhchivan City as part of the Cahan Holding Commercial Companies Union, taking into account the development of the construction sector.
Its main activity is the execution of General Construction Works. In the country, consistent measures are being implemented to meet the housing needs of the population, including young people, and “Cahan İnşaat” actively participates in these projects.
As part of the works carried out in this area, based on the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated January 31, 2014, and according to the “Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Nakhchivan City for 2014-2015,”
a new residential complex named “Youth Town” was planned to be constructed on Aziz Aliyev Street in Nakhchivan city. The project includes six buildings: two 9-story buildings, two 11-story buildings, and one 13-story building.
The two-bedroom apartments are designed to have an area of 60 to 77 square meters, while the three-bedroom apartments range from 104 to 142 square meters.
The construction of the “Youth Town” (Gənclər şəhərciyi) residential complex has been successfully completed, comprising a total of 506 apartments, shopping centers, sports facilities, and other service areas. The residential complexes built here meet the highest modern standards in terms of communal amenities and social infrastructure.
The sale of apartments was carried out through mortgage financing. In the courtyard area, modern lighting and video surveillance systems were installed to ensure safety, while the construction of a kindergarten, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as open-air chess areas, was designed in a contemporary style. Each residential building is equipped with passenger and freight elevators, and the project includes the creation of an underground parking facility with a capacity of 323 vehicles.
The enterprise includes the Machine and Mechanism Department, operational since 2007; the Water and Sewerage Department; the Door and Window Production Workshop; the Concrete Products Plant, operational since 2012; the Construction and Finishing Department; and the Housing Construction Department, which began operations in 2013. This team carried out the construction of the new project in the construction sector — the “Youth Town” residential complex in Nakhchivan city — and successfully handed over the complex in 2018.
In 2016, the Water and Sewerage Department executed the construction of the water supply and sewerage networks in the villages of Shikhmahmud and Khalilli in the Babek district, under the “Water Supply and Sewerage Investment Program Project-2,” jointly funded by the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank.
In 2017, within the framework of the “Reconstruction Project of Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage Systems for Shahbuz District Center and Surrounding Villages,” the construction and commissioning of the water intake facility, water treatment plant, water and sewerage networks, and house connections were completed.
This project utilized equipment from the globally renowned German company Bioworks Verfahrenstechnik GmbH.
In 2018, under the “Construction Project of Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage Network for Shakarabad Village of Babek District,” the construction of water and sewerage networks and house connections was successfully completed.
In 2019–2020, the construction of water supply networks was carried out in several villages of the Kangarli district. In 2021, it implemented a project to establish an artesian water network in Yaycı village, Julfa district.
One of the contributions of “Cahan Construction” LLC to the development of the construction sector in Nakhchivan city is the construction of the “Entertainment Island” in 2013, located in the area of the Nakhchivan River, designed to provide residents with a productive leisure space.
In 2018, within the framework of the “White City” project in Baku, several residential buildings were constructed and handed over.
