At the initiative of “Jahan Group of Companies” and the Nakhchivan Public Association of Martyrs’ Families, 63 family members of martyrs from Nakhchivan paid a visit to Shusha. The visit, organized on 13–14 August, aimed to introduce Shusha and other liberated territories of Azerbaijan to the children, families, and relatives of the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country’s freedom.
As part of the program, the participants first visited the bust of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, laid flowers at the monument, and honored his memory. Afterwards, they departed for Baku, where they received a warm welcome at the airport before continuing their journey to Shusha. On the first day, 13 August, the martyr families accommodated at the “Kharibulbul” Hotel visited the Shusha Fortress. In the evening, an art workshop was organized for children, whose drawings were later exhibited in the hotel lobby, and they were presented with engaging illustrated books.
On the second day, the participants visited Isa Spring, Jidir Plain, the Mausoleum of Molla Panah Vagif, and the Govhar Agha Mosque, followed by a meeting at the Shusha City Executive Authority. After lunch, the delegation departed for Baku.Throughout the visit, heartfelt conversations were held with the martyr families, their concerns and needs were heard, and the initiative was recognized as a meaningful contribution to addressing their need for moral support, as well as reaffirming the state’s care and attention towards them.

This journey will remain both a tribute to the memory of the heroes who gave their lives for the Motherland and a cherished, spiritually valuable experience for their families.
