Founded in 2006, Cahan Tobacco International LLC is a tobacco and cigarette manufacturing enterprise operating within the structure of the Cahan Holding Commercial Companies Union in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The company utilizes modern technologies to produce high-quality tobacco and tobacco products.
The facility is equipped with advanced machinery manufactured in Germany and Bulgaria. The production process is carried out in accordance with international quality standards. The company sources tobacco, filters, cigarette paper, and other materials from Brazil, Türkiye, and European countries.
“Cahan Tobacco International” LLC produces its products under the brands “Keno Club,” , “Fine,” “Want,” “Cardinal,” and “Line X.” These cigarettes are offered in King Size, Queen Size, and Nano formats, in more than 20 varieties across 5 categories. The products are exported to countries such as Russia, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Yemen, and Libya.
Within the framework of the “State Program on the Development of Tobacco Growing for 2017–2021,” initiated by President Ilham Aliyev, the company carried out major reforms in the tobacco sector in Nakhchivan. After a 26-year hiatus, tobacco cultivation was revived in the region, and the cultivation of Classic Oriental and Virginia varieties was launched.
Currently, tobacco cultivation is carried out in the Sharur, Babek, and Kangarli districts. Due to its high quality, locally grown tobacco is not only used as raw material in the factory but is also exported to countries such as the United States, Poland, and Belgium. This tobacco is also used in the production of “Shah,” the first hookah tobacco brand in Azerbaijan.
The enterprise has an annual production capacity of 5 billion cigarettes. Producing 60,000 large boxes of products per month, the factory makes a significant contribution to strengthening local production and reducing dependence on imports.
